Implementation Studie Basler Kreativwirtschaft

From 2009 to 2010, I analysed Basel's cultural and creative industries together with a small team and the Statistical Office. In May 2010, I published the 428-page survey, which scientifically analysed the economic and financial situation of creative professionals in the canton of Basel City for the first time.

The study also made recommendations on how the economic framework conditions for Basel's design and architecture sectors could be stimulated and improved. They ultimately persuaded the (then) Government Councillor Christoph Brutschin to launch measures to promote the economy in both sectors as a three-year pilot project.
